Sotoya Ceremonial Tobacco Company provides its customers with a USDA-Certified-Organic source of Virginia style tobacco in its cured natural state. We grow and handle our tobacco according to Native American ceremonial protocols. Those wishing to learn more about tobacco ceremony should consult a Native American Elder who practices within their traditional tribal community.

Retailers Please Note: Sotoya whole leaf tobacco has been reviewed by the US Dept. of Treasury and Trade: Alcohol & Tobacco Tax Division and found NOT to be subject to federal taxes on manufactured tobacco. This means that retailers may sell our products without violating federal tobacco regulations. Grandad’s Tobacco does not process tobacco for smoking but sells it only in its natural cured whole-leaf form. Your State’s Dept. of Revenue can tell you if State Taxes or Licensing apply to the sale of unprocessed whole leaf tobacco.
